The Ginger Man is proud to offer monthly beer dinners, each featuring 5 beers from a brewery or importer paired with and used in a 5 course meal.
Your $65-$75 ticket (subject to change based upon the brewery featured) is all inclusive: 5 courses, 5 beers, tax and gratuity. The evening kicks off promptly at 7pm. Come check in a few minutes early, meet your friends for a pint, and then we begin with the first round of beers, a light appetizer or salad, and an introduction to the brewery representative, as well as a little history of the brewery. 4 more courses follow, including a cheese course and dessert. During each course our guest will share some information about the beer, as well as how it pairs with the food. We regret that we can not offer refunds for beer dinner tickets purchased. We do require prepayment for the seats, as we will sell out each and every one. Be sure to make your reservations early so you don't miss out on a great night!

These guys have always been well known for their very popular Whales Tale Pale Ale, but recently they've added a few new beers to the regular rotation of our draught wall. We've had the Moor Porter, the Baileys Blonde Ale, the Sankaty Light has replaced "a beer that will remain nameless" as the chosen light lager on the wall, and we've even had the Indie Pale Ale. BUT, the very special oak aged set of beers called the "Woods Series" has really taken a hold of us at The Ginger Man, as well as many of our customers. Most recently we've fallen in love with "Sour Cherry Woods" but we've not forgotten the "Dark Woods" or "Lady of the Woods" by any stretch. If you are not familiar with these beers, be sure to get your tickets ASAP before we sell out, as we will be offering a couple of them, and quite possibly one or two new ones to us as well! So don't forget, Monday, 30 August 2010, 7:00pm sharp!
